Alix Chidley Uttley is a folklorist, writer and presenter whose work explores British folklore, customs, beliefs and social history. Growing up in the Shropshire countryside surrounded by old myths and legends, old chapels and marcher castles, history became an essential part of the life.

She is an experienced journalist, public speaker and presenter who has written for publications such as Countryfile, Country Life and Farmers Weekly, as well as hosting the Lambing Diaries on BBC Shropshire during lockdown.
